Foil Stamping

Foil stamping, also referred to as hot stamping or foil printing, is a specialized printing process that uses heat, pressure, and metal dies to apply foil film to a printed surface. The foil film typically comes in rolls and is available in a wide range of colors, finishes, and optical effects. While metallic foil, such as gold, silver, or copper, is the most commonly used foil type, foiling can also be done in rich looking solid colors such as red, green, purple, blue, and black.

Embossing

Embossing

The process of embossing involves creating a raised image on a surface. The end result of the embossing process is to create a three-dimensional effect on the desired area. Typically, the embossing procedure requires the use of two dies. The first die is raised while the second die is recessed. The two dies are designed to fit into each other so that when paper or other material is pressed between them, the raised die forces the targeted material into the recessed die. When done carefully, this process creates an embossed impression without damaging or tearing the targeted area.

Spot UV

Spot UV involves applying a clear and shiny coating to specific areas of a printed surface. This application creates an inviting contrast from the surrounding areas that are typically covered with a matte laminate or coating.Spot UV application is widely used to highlight brand logos and other important images. In addition, Spot UV application is often combined with embossing, commonly referred to as UV embossing, to create a vibrant and luxurious effect.

Die cutting

Die Cutting

Die cutting is a specialty production process that uses specialized machines and dies to treat paper stock in order to create custom shapes and designs. Traditional die cutting methods involve metal dies with blades that are applied with an appropriate amount of pressure to create custom cuts. Modern die cutting techniques use laser cutting. Laser cutting results in a very smooth and accurate finish. Unlike traditional die cutting methods, laser cutting does not require the use of thick blades. This allows for the creation of more intricate designs with a higher level of intricate details.
